andy and honey came home tonite… infact they’re coming back hehe… just gone down to get another bottle of scotch :) … there is nothing like finding someone who you can relate to… just sit back, drink and listen to ghazals… (of course only jagjit-ji’s)!
i was just speaking to a mate, and i was telling her that it’s so crazy! imagine! how many 26 yr olds do you see these days who can say that their perfect evening is having some good scotch and listening to ghazals??? 90% of the people i know, only wanna get drunk and party hard-out and that is sooooooo not my scene….
and no! i don’t think i’m missing out on anything… i don’t care having that kind of a debate… people are different and i respect that… but provided they (people) respect my idea of a perfect evening too na!
so anyways, i came to know that these guys (andy & honey) are also into ghazals… god and it was perfect…. i’ve been dying to spend such times with people here… and i don’t know anyone at all… god! i wish today turns into a saturday…. waaaaah :( why is this a sunday….. why do the best things only happen on sundays… why not saturdays :( waaaaah
andy pointed it out so well today… that jagjit-ji’s ghazals are like only to be heard as an individual… like only when you’re all alone… all by yourself…
the only 1 person i have to thank in my life for introducing me to this world of jagjit-ji is gita-fai (my aunt (dad’s sister)), who’s no longer with us… god i miss her so much… i wish she was here to see that i have every single song they (jagjit-ji & chitra singh) have every sung in their life….
anyways i think any thought of her throws me into a world where i can’t help but feel terribly sad… so i’m gonna stop here for now…
anyways these guys are back… so i’m off.

I’m not going to say anything about gazal’s (especially Jagjit Singh) coz i dont like ‘em at all. Might be coz i have never really bothered hearing ‘em. Always had something aginst ‘em.
But you are so right about good things happening on Sunday’s. I sooo feel the same :-)
