had a good night yesterday. kayte was meeting up with her friends around 7.30pm and was gonna have a “all-gals” night in the city… so i went for a few drinks with mike around 5.30pm. as usual, we couldn’t resist a guinness at the porterhouse :smile:

around 6.45 or so, nina joined us and as usual we ended up having a great night. we talked about the different work cultures between nina’s place and our place, skulled a few beers, talked about music, movies, authors, books, and all things we love. nina usually brings that charm with her when she comes heheh… before she came, mike and me were just discussing about how things were between him and kayte, and then nina rocks up and the whole conversation gets into the next gear :razz:

well it was fun, but they had to leave around 8pm… and i really was not dont yet with my drinks! i needed more! i suddenly had this urge to have some nice shiraz. so i called up kayte and asked her if they’ve finished their dinner. she was like, “we’re still waiting to be served. but if you want you can join us, we’re all girls, we really really need a guy around and there’s only one other guy who is taz’s (kayte’s adelaide friend) friend”

so i made my way to where they were, a restaurant, nepalese kitchen in surry hills.

picked up 2 bottles of wine on the way as it was a “byo” restaurant.

kayte was getting bored too sitting there and once i got there, both of us got smashed and had a good time. soon enough kathryn and ana left, and only ones left were bred, taz, kayte and myself. so we decided to drink some more and goto a pub.

we had a few beers there and then both of us, kayte and me were like, “nyaah, lets just leave”:roll:

it was an abrupt ending. funny how all of a sudden both of us were really uncomfortable in that pub…

well, on the way back home was when the wine really hit me… so i did end up getting smashed.

but overall, a good night…:razz:
