i feel so lonely :sad:

for the first time in life that i can remember, i find myself coming home and not sitting straight on the computer. as a change, it’s quite refreshing. i’ve been trying very hard to get back on my feet.

small baby steps as someone once said to me.

to sort out my finances, i’ve taken up doing what i love the most, designing websites again. the reason i stress on design and not development is because my perspective on a website is always the first impression that makes you want to come back to it. so it has to be all about the look first, then the functionality. of course these wouldn’t apply to websites that are meant to be purely functional to that extent. but what i’m trying to say here is that i tend to stress more on the creative aspect of it first!

i’ve already got 2 projects in hand, and although it doesn’t pay as it once used to, it brings me a lot of peace of mind.

my mum always used to tell me this when i was a child and as usual, it never made sense then, but it does now. her words and i quote, “devesh, always remember, an empty mind is a devil’s workshop”

thanks mum, for all the subtle wisdom that you have imparted over time :)

anyways, the weekend was a nice one! ridhish and monty were over at my place :) and all we did was play burnout-2 on the xbox

of course before that, as you would have read on monty’s post, we had the first ever Aussie (Indian) Bloggers Meet!

work has been quite stressful with a lot of campaigns and events coming up. now i can officially say that i’m working for telstra as telstra recently acquired kaz. so basically have been redesigning and producing a lot new collateral (which always pleases me) :)

i’m gonna get back to work now, gotta complete this quote for a prospective client :)
