The title of this post says it all :)

I had heard of this before (can’t remember when and where), but I watched it for the first time.

This video, most definitely, is guaranteed to make you smile right from the beginning – so much that your face will start hurting coz you’ve been smiling for that long.

What an awesome video of communities from all across the world coming together just simply, to create JOY!

I was on Facebook this arvo, posting a message on a friend’s wall wishing him birthday wishes.

I usually don’t browse through people’s Facebook, but he had a link to a YouTube video which caught my eye.

I must’ve watched this video on repeat for about 4 times since I first saw it – so here it is, sharing it with you guys.

It’s a clip from this new TV show in UK I believe called “Britain’s Got Talent” – and it’s this awesome impersonation of the evergreen pop star, Michael Jackson.

Whether you like MJ or you don’t – irrelevant of it, make it a point to watch this 2 minute video completely – I’m sure you’ll enjoy it :)

Every once in a while you come across a song that as when you’re listening to it the first time, you kind know that you won’t be listening to it for a long time to come. And then by the time it ends, you find yourself putting it on repeat just to hear the words once again.

And thus, it grows on you.

I came across this really nice song which I’d like to share here. I’ve pasted the lyrics after the video below – pay attention to the words. They’re simple, yet profound and will leave you with a good “feeling” :)

Almost everyone who knows me, knows how much I love HALO – the Xbox/360 game – YES, 1, 2 and 3 :) And no, I’m NOT welcoming any debates on it!

I’ve had a record of continuously playing Halo 1 (this was a little later after Halo 1 was released) – for 13.5 hours straight – no food, no drinks, NOTHING!

The fact that I’ve never come even close to replicating it is a completely different story.

Anyways… so a friend of mine was over this evening and we were playing Halo 3 (after me religiously convincing him that the “insane” level isn’t as bad as he thinks) – and he goes like “have you seen Halo-God on YouTube yet?” – I had no clue what he was talking about. Most naturally I’m only smitten with just my performance and achievements on the game.

So I logged on to YouTube and put on the video – this one’s a total classic! Give it a few seconds for the music to kick in and you’ll know what I mean. While you’re at it, don’t forget to check out the “Sharks gone mad” video from “Crysis” – that will totally crack you up whether you’re a gaming fan or not!

I think everyone around me on twitter and facebook are tired of me reiterating and humming this song from time to time lately.

The theme from Spongebob Squarepants :)

I haven’t watched as many of his cartoons – but for some reason, this song is etched in my head.

Funny, it’s actually quite therapeutical!

Anytime you’re feeling low and want to get pepped up – think of this song, or better yet, start randomly singing it. Not only will it make you smile, but the people around will also have a good laugh.

I think I’ve been over-doing it a lot lately.

There are a very few movies which move me to an extreme where I sit there, still, starting at the screen deep in thought while the end credits have already finished rolling too.

Last time I remember that happening to me was when I watched “City of Angels” back in the year 2000.

Today I experienced the same feeling when I watched “Conversations with God“.

The movie is a true life account of the author of the books titled “Conversations with God by Neale Walsch“.

I haven’t read any of the books, at least not yet, but the movie is brilliantly portrayed.

It’s a depiction of Neale’s journey as to how he came about writing the book – and the struggles he faced in life which eventually led him to a point where the book journey began.

There are moments in the movie when you can deeply identify with his character and his pain at that given point and suddenly realise how quiet your heart feels, filled with emptiness and a deep sense of connection with the character at the same given time.

This most definitely is not a “popcorn” flick – and even if you do microwave some, I assure you, you’ll forget about them after you’re about 15-20 minutes into the movie.

It is not a “religious” journey per se – and does not focus on “religion” in any form.

It’s a straight – simple account of the author’s journey and how he came about to write these books.

So if you’re in the mood to watch something that moves your heart, I strongly urge you to rent this one out.

Twitter has become an in-bred, part and parcel of my life.

A few days ago someone mentioned about QIK on twitter, and I decided to check it out.

QIK is a service that allows one to stream videos right from their phone to the web. All it requires is a compatible phone (they support most common phones) – obviously you ought to have a camera phone (duh!) and a good, unlimited data plan with your phone’s service provider (else you’ll be ripped apart)!

QIK is currently in Alpha testing – but you can sign up and you should get an invite hopefully within 24 hours. Once you do, install the software on your phone and begin streaming :)

QIK also intergrates with other social networking sites like Twitter, Seesmic, Blogger, YouTube – and you can configure it so that as you start streaming, it posts the videos live on any of the sites of your choice :)

Unfortunately my mobile service provider doesn’t have a good data plan and I’m far from rolling up my contract… which simply makes it very difficult for me to make use of QIK in it’s full potential!

However I’ve posted a couple of videos, most of them are from home as I can use my home ADSL through my wireless router.

I watched “The Covenant” last night after quite a few days of putting it off… I must say I was relatively impressed.

The movie isn’t an unusual one – typically addresses the audiences of the average cool teenager and likes. The story doesn’t go in-depth of what the covenant is and how it was formed etc.etc. – just concentrates on the “task at hand” if you may.

What impressed me was the visual effects, although you see them in a lot of movies these days, but I guess I didn’t expect them to be so much at par in this movie.

Spoiler ahead, read at your own risk

There’s one particular scene where this guy is driving and has an accident with this log truck… the scene is so well picturised… the whole car smashes and blows and in the direction of the motion it is going, it basically regenerates itself just as the road clears ahead!!!

Now that’s what totally blew me – oh god I want a Plasma :(

Overall, The Covenant is a decent popcorn flick if you like to see good special effects and welcome a bit of unscruplous magic without critiscism :)

I came across this video in YouTube, where someone actually creates the Mona Lisa from scratch only using Microsoft Paint!!!

I’m an ardent TV-Shows fan. Some of my favourites, to name a few, have been Smallville, Charmed, That 70′s Show, and these days Heroes

I did a random google search for TV Shows, hoping to find a site which basically shows up listing of all popular TV Shows and what they are about (Of course there’s www.tv.com).

One of the top results was PeekVid.

As the site states:

Peekvid is committed to an industry solution that will provide a mechanism to compensate artists that create the work you enjoy watching. Peekvid would like to be part of the long term solution.

I found heaps of ‘Smallville’ Episodes on it (Episode 6 shows), but unfortunately only found 1 of ‘That 70′s Show’.

The site seems to be relatively new, so I guess they’ll populate it more shows over time.

So for anyone, who wants to catch a glimps of an episode they’ve missed, enter PeekVid!
